The funny thing about high quality plugins is that they just work. You install and forget them. Shield gives you a ton of options but it does a lot of thinking for you so it’s basically a plug and play plugin. Highly recommended.
And when I needed to reach out to their customer support lately they responded swiftly and professionally. But not only that – the problem I experienced was not caused by Shield but by the caching mechanism on my host – and yet the response I got was no your usual “contact your hosting provider” but a thorough analysis of what might be happening, references and explanations. So when I did contact my host I was armed with facts and the issue was solved in no time.
Which didn’t stop the Shield guys to email me in the meantime to ask “how did it go with your host?”.
This is the kind of partner you want to have to run your business.
